Activity days

A simple way to get your young people outdoors, developing their confidence and teamwork. Perhaps combine den building and prioneering with the thrill of the zip line and the challenge of crate stacking. Choose from more than 30 activities, with the option to base yourselves in one of our buildings or use a shelter on a woodland campsite.

Leader Permit Training Courses
Do you want to lead climbing, archery and other adventurous activities for scouts, guides or other young people? We regularly run courses for national governing body certificates and scout permit training.
Evening meetings and activities
We are all scout leaders here, so we know what it’s like filling the regular weekly programme. We can help with that, and what’s more there are often badges to be had. It’s all about the badges!
Some groups choose to hold their regular or occasional evening meetings here at Bentley Copse. Others schedule an evening of say climbing and a campfire. Outside of the summer months many of our activities can be run floodlit or even in the dark (the thrill of nighttime zip line!).
