With over 30 activities on site, permanent friendly specialist instructors and flexible catering options, we build a programme around your curriculum aims, budget and your students — not the other way round.
Our instructors are experienced, permanent staff — not seasonal — and used to working with students of all abilities and needs, adapting activities and pacing to suit your group. We’re 45 minutes from central London and within an hour of Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Kent, making us an easy day or overnight option for schools across the South East.

We pride ourselves in being able to offer groups a balanced mix of accommodation, facilities and activities to make your school’s visit to Bentley Copse a success. No two schools are alike and therefore your visit to Bentley Copse will be bespoke to your needs, timings and budget.
Activities:
We have over 30 activities on offer, including those led by our instructors and those you may run yourselves. Your activity schedule will be unique to your school and customised to work around your arrival and departure times.
Environment:
Bentley Copse is an area of mixed woodland nestled in the Surrey Hills. We can offer both an exciting residential packed with fun activities and a quiet tranquil location for students to relax and be themselves in a natural environment – sometimes even in the same day!
We have catering options to suit you group and budget.
Full Board – breakfast, lunch and tea. Fresh, nutritious and prepared taking into account your group’s needs. We are proud to hold a full five star food hygiene certificate
Self Catering – with our fully equipped commercial grade kitchens on site groups are welcome to self-cater. Occasionally groups choose to hire in commercial event caterers who attend three times a day and serve ‘food truck’ style – get in touch if you wish to be connected.
We have indoor accommodation for up to 64 in our dormitory buildings on site.
For larger groups or those looking to give their students the option of sleeping out, our bell tent village is equipped with canvas tents, sleeping mats and LED lighting.
Whether you are staying for one night, or the whole week – we will work with you to build the ideal schedule for your students.
Most schools will have two or three activities on their day of arrival, two activities on their day of departure and five or six activities on each full day.
Downtime or time to explore Bentley Copse can also be scheduled to give your students time to relax and unwind.

Our most popular package provides four activities to your students and costs £420 for a group of twelve students.
Your students will participate in two activities run by our instructors and two led by your staff.
Offering the same activity range and flexibility as our residentials, we can build you a bespoke activity day that works for you and your students.
Your staff will have access to The Retreat for making hot drinks, and your group will be able to make use of our large marquee for eating lunch should it rain.
